The Land of Ambrosia
Traveling to the lost Land of Ambrosia is both exciting and necessary for the successful completion of the game. The major attraction of Ambrosia is the Shrines - one each for Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Dexterity.
While in Ambrosia, time passes as if you were in a Towne or Castle - one point of magic is regained every 4 turns, and food and health are treated the same way. The monsters who live in Ambrosia are devoted to preventing your trip from being a successful one.
The images below show, as best they can, where the four Shrines are located. There are two reasons for visiting Shrines - empowerment and Cards. In each Shrine, gold may be spent to increase one of the four character attributes, 1 point for every 100 gold. In this fashion, characters become more powerful, becoming better at combat and more powerful magics.
The second reason, the Cards, are the key to defeating Exodus. Each Shrine has a Card hidden within it - Love, Death, Moons, and Sol. To look for these cards, use the Other command, and type in the command SEARCH while standing on the Shrine.
