There are 8 Townes and 4 Villages in the Britannian countryside and islands. Each Towne is devoted to a different Virtue of the Avatar, anf the Villages each have inhabitants full of helpful information concerning much of the Quest. Visit each many times, and ask much of the people you meet therein. In this way only may you uncover the information necessary to become an Avatar and destroy the influence of the long-dead Mondain once and for all Each Towne and Village also has various shops within them, and they are listed after the description for each. In addition, each Towne has a Moon Portal which lies, usually, within sight of their walls.
Villages of Britannia
Buccaneer's Den
This village, located on an island south and east of Lord British's castle, is little more than a collection of ruffians and fugitives. Still, there is valuable information to be gleaned here, for the right price, of course.

Cove
Seafarers who have journeyed into the whirlpool will find themselves in the inland sea and able to reach the hidden village of Cove. Aside from the Healer, there is little by way of tangible items, but much to be gained in terms of information. This is, of course, the Hidden Village of Wisdom.

Paws
This village, located north of the Towne of Trinsic, is a great place to stop for the weary adventurer. This is also the only place in Britannia to purchase horses, the price depending upon the number of travelers in the party.

Vesper
This village is one of the most remote places in the Realm, and it is very near to the location where Mandrake Root may be harvested.

Townes of Britannia
Britain, Towne of Compassion
In the shadow of Lord British's castle lies the compassionate Towne of Britain. This is the most popular of the Townes due to its proximity to the castle, and prices there are a little higher than they would be elsewhere in the Britannia. Be sure to seek the help of Iolo the Bard.

Jhelom, Towne of Valor
Located on one of the Valarian Isles, west of the Cape of Heroes, is the Towne of Jhelom. The Shrine of Valor is visible on an island south of here. Within the strong walls of this Towne are some of the most reputed Fighters in Britannia including Geoffrey, a soul always willing to join the battle.

Magincia, Towne of Pride
The ruins of this Towne of Pride lie on an island far from any other land mass. Inhabited by the darkest creatures and haunted by the long-dead population, the crumbling walls and broken streets of Magincia are humbling experiences for any on the Quest.

Minoc, Towne of Sacrifice
On Lost Hope Bay, north of the Bloody Plains, lies the Towne of Minoc. The diligent Tinkers of this Towne will warmly welcome any weary adventurer, and what is theirs is yours. The help of Julia, a strong-willed Tinker, is available here.

Moonglow, Towne of Honesty
Near the southern tip of Verity Isle, east of the mainland, is the mystical Towne of Moonglow. Inhabited primarily by those skilled in the magical arts, this Towne is a welcome stop for adventurere low on reagents. Almost directly south of here, across the vast sea, lie the Shrine of Humility and the Abyss. Seek the aid of Mariah the Mage.

Skara Brae, Towne of Spirituality
On a small island west of the mainland lies the the spiritual Towne of Skara Brae. The inhabitants of this Towne are usually deep in thought, pondering their personal beliefs. A fellow adventurer willing to share his experiences with your party, Shamino the Ranger, resides here.

Trinsic, Towne of Honor
Towards the southern end of the mainland lies the Towne of Trinsic. Tales of honor can be heard before even entering the Towne, as brave Paladins go about their business. An old friend from Sosaria, the Paladin Dupre, awaits here for you to join in your Quest.

Yew, Towne of Justice
Surrounded by the Deep Forest is the just Towne of Yew. The druids who call this towne their home carefully tend to the judicial needs of Britannia. The Druid Jaana is here, willing to spread justice throughout the land as a member of the party.
